I would like to say a special Thank You to Charlie Harrelson for sending me the Wednesday Night Tournament results week after week since I started this column early this year.

This past Saturday, Oct. 29, was the Wednesday Night Classic and was fished by the teams that participated in at least 15 tournaments this season.

The Wednesday Night Tournament season generally runs from the time change in the spring until the time change in the fall.

Eleven teams qualified for the Classic that paid out almost $3,000 in prize money. One team received new Enigma Rods just for having the lowest weight!

And I must say it was really no surprise when I received the results to share with you folks.

Coming in first place with a 5 fish limit of 25.56 pounds was none other than Charlie Harrelson and Mark Lundgren.

They caught their bass on Lake Kissimmee. This duo had a great season winning many Wednesday Nights. They split the $1,200 jackpot . Congrats again fellas!!

Second place and $485 went to Geo and Eric with 17.07 pounds, along with $220 for the big fish of the day, a 6.56 pounder. Third place and $363 was shared by Harvey and Ricky for their total catch of 15.33 pounds.

Coming in fourth place and earning $242 was Kirt and Mike with 13.17 pounds. And last but not least was the pair of Chad and Todd with 11.56 pounds, doubling their entry fee money by winning $121.

Remember, today is Great Outdoor Days down at the Kissimmee Lakefront. There will be the Angling for Education Tournament with a 3 p.m. weigh-in. Come out and support these local talented student anglers!

There will also be canoeing demonstrations and a kids fishing derby!

Lake Toho Report: The water level is at 54.87 feet above sea level and the gates are not open at this time down at the lock. The water temperature has been slowly dropping and has been staying in the low 80s. This weekend we are due for cooler weather.

If you get out on the water, be safe! Have a great weekend and tight lines friends.
