On June 15, Osceola County sheriff’s deputies responded to the Circle K, 2688 Simpson Road in Kissimmee, in reference to an armed robbery.

At approximately 1:25 a.m., a black male entered the store and immediately approached the night shift clerk,

striking her in the face, a Sheriff’s Office report stated. The suspect brandished a knife and demanded money from the register. He then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

After a complete investigation, detectives identified Jimmy Scurry, 42, as the suspect. Scurry was arrested on an arrest warrant on Thursday for armed robbery, kidnapping during the commission of a felony, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and grand theft.
