According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, German Rosario Ramos, 35, of Clermont, was driving a 2009 Honda van westbound on U.S. Highway 192, near Secret Lake Drive, at about 2:35 a.m.

For an unknown reason, Ramos lost control of the van and hit a marked 2016 Ford SUV that was stopped on the north side of U.S. Highway with Orange Deputy James Moye inside.
