LETTER TO THE EDITOR -- Seemingly biased coverage towards Trump

Dear Editor:

I have a journalism degree from the University of Florida and can objectively say your coverage of Trump’s assassination attempt was ‘over the top’, excessive and clearly meant to promote Trump.

The front-page picture and headline were obviously slanted to portray Trump as some kind of courageous hero. All he did was drop to his hands and knees as soon as he felt his ear pricked. That was prudence, not courage, and when he got up the secret service said it was all clear... and had him covered with their bodies when Trump raised his fist for a photo op. Also, your using two full pages of coverage on items that have already been fully covered by the main media two days earlier was unnecessary. A summary article and an optional opinion piece would have been sufficient.

I have really enjoyed reading your paper, and like the new format and page size, but was really disappointed in this seemingly biased coverage towards Trump.
