After nearly a month away, the Osceola Magic return to the Silver Spurs Arena this weekend for a week-long, three-game home stand.
Osceola has gotten off to a slow start to the 2024-25 NBA G League campaign, but moved to 4-6 with a 114-92 win Wednesday over the Birmingham Squadron. Mac McClung led scorers with 22 points, and Robert Baker scored 15 points to go along with 16 rebounds.
The Magic's first game back is Sunday, Dec. 8 at 3 p.m. against the Oklahoma City Blue. The team will celebrate Swish the mascot's birthday on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m., then will throw a themed holiday party on Saturday, Nov. 14, with another 7 p.m. tipoff.
While two-way stars McClung (18.1 ppg) and Trevelin Queen (23.1), who did not play Wednesday as it was with the Orlando Magic in New York and Philadelphia, are again making a name for themselves with Osceola, several newcomers like Ethan Thompson, Jalen Slawson, Javonte Smart and Jarrett Culver are also averaging double-digits in scoring.
