Holy Redeemer School earns five of 12 calendar nominations, including grand prize
Monday, Kissimmee Utility Authority announced the winners of its 31st annual student calendar art contest. Open to Osceola County students in kindergarten through fifth grade, the contest promotes energy conservation among students and their families.
Their work will be featured in KUA’s 2025 Calendar of Electrical Safety. KUA will begin distributing the free calendars in January.
The competition was tough – 996 entries were received from 15 Osceola County elementary schools for 12 monthly spots in the calendar. A panel of judges met in November and selected 12 entries – one for each calendar month.
The 12 winning students will have their artwork featured in this 2025 calendar and each will receive a $150 cash prize. The grand prize winner – fifth grader Victor Paul Grzeskowiak from Holy Redeemer Catholic School – will see his artwork featured on the calendar cover, as well as on a KUA fleet vehicle during 2025.
