You have until 7 p.m. to vote today.
The countdown is on, as today (Tuesday) is essentially the final day of the 2024 Primary Election. This is an important election in races to determine who will represent voters at City Hall, the county Administration Building and in the Florida Legislature. THERE ARE NO UN-IMPORTANT ELECTIONS.
So, if you haven't voted yet, how do you do so? By going to your assigned precinct and getting in line by 7 p.m. Don't have your voter registration card to know where that is? This morning, the Supervisor of Elections put a link on the front of its website (www.VoteOsceola.org) down the right side of the page: "Find Your Polling Location Here". You'll just have to enter your legal name and date of birth. From there, head to your polling place with your driver's license or picture ID. IF YOU ARE A REGISTERED VOTER, you'll get your ballot to participate in your right as an American.
DO YOU STILL HAVE A MAIL-IN BALLOT? If so, don't worry. You can bring it to your precinct to turn in, surrender it and vote a new ballot, or take it to the Supervisor of Elections office (2509 E. U.S. Highway 192, at the northeast corner of 192 and Partin Settlement Road) by 7 p.m. Either method will assure your ballot will count.
Check back with us Tuesday night after 7 p.m. for election results!
