On Tuesday, Goodwill Industries of Central Florida invites the community to celebrate “Shoe the World Day” by donating shoes to benefit neighbors across Central Florida.
The day sheds light on the importance of and need for quality footwear for millions of people worldwide who can't afford or don't have access to it.
Anyone interested in donating gently used shoes and sneakers can do so at their local Goodwill store or Donation Xpress Center.
Revenue generated through sales of these donated items fund Goodwill’s job placement and training services, as well as its vocational rehabilitation program.
