The Osceola County Sheriff's Office released video Tuesday of a deputy and a suspect in a crime injured in a fireball at an Orange County Wawa.
The video shows a suspect on a dirt bike ride to the gas pump at the station on John Young Parkway and Central Florida Parkway. Earlier in the day, deputies responded to a report of numerous individuals on motorcycles who were pointing guns at people. This suspect fled and was not pursued. The Sheriff's Office didn't release where the initial incident occurred in an afternoon press release.
OCSO later got a report the suspect was refueling his motorcycle at the gas station, and deputies responded to the location. Video at the station shows a a person, likely one of the deputies, rush in and tackle the suspect as he was pumping gas, or as he just finished. In the process of apprehending him, the video shows a fire igniting that burned the suspect and three responding deputies. Unconfirmed reports from the scene noted the possibility of a taser being fired next to the gas pump.
