5-year-old Kissimmee girl killed in Poinciana crash on Friday

A 5-year-old Kissimmee girl was killed and two other kids were badly injured in a head-on crash in Poinciana on Friday.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, Maria Noriega–Enclalada, 23, of Kissimmee, was driving a 2012 Toyota Venza southbound on Poinciana Boulevard, near Reaves Road at about 2:25 p.m., when she traveled into the northbound lanes.

The front of the Toyota hit a 2019 Kia Sorrento head-on being driven by Marylou Waymack, 62, of Kissimmee. Marylou and her 5-year-old passenger, Mariah Waymack, were taken to area hospitals and pronounced dead. Two other children in the Kia, ages 4 and 9, were listed in critical and serious condition, respectively.

Enclalada and her passenger Jeffrey Cedeno, 26, of Detroit, were taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center in serious condition. Charges are pending against Enclalada.
