Third Annual Luau will be Saturday at pool

Aloha!  The Third Annual Adult Luau will be held on Saturday, July 27, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Association of Poinciana Villages (APV) Community Center Pool, 445 Marigold Ave.

Celebrate summer poolside (adults 21 and up) with D.J. Renee. Cash bar (wine and beer) and hors d’ouvers will be available.

Calling all Young Rembrandts – develop and hone your skills with Young Rembrandts classes at the Mary Jane Arrington Gym and Aquatic Center, 625 Country Club Drive.

Young Rembrandts classes offer drawing and cartooning for elementary age children. Classes will be held July 30 to Aug. 1. There are two classes per day, from 2 to 4 p.m. Cost is $36 for the sessions, or $12 per class. All material is provided.

A  Back-to School Health Fair, sponsored by E-Tax, Zion and Poinciana Access Community Center, will be on Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., 897 Towne Center Drive, Poinciana.  Giveaways include backpacks and school supplies. Activities include a bounce house and health screenings. Enjoy music and raffles. The Poinciana Friends of the Library will hold a Mini Book Sale & Bake Sale on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Poinciana Branch Library, 101 N.
