Teenagers charged with attempted murder after victim was shot

Two teenagers have been charged with attempted murder after a victim was shot at a local apartment complex.

On Saturday at 8:22 P.M., Osceola County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to 300 Bald Cypress at the Osceola Pointe Apartments, in response to a shooting.

Deputies discovered a male shooting victim who was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Deputies later learned there was a second shooting victim from the same incident at an area hospital. It was determined that a group of males were involved in an altercation, which led to a shooting. Detectives identified Jean Carlos Burgos as being involved in the incident and was listed in critical condition.

Jesus Marquez-Sanchez, 16, and Elias Perez, 17, have also been identified as being involved in the incident and were charged with attempted murder.
