The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested three people on kidnapping charges on Sunday after they took a man’s girlfriend because he allegedly owned them money.
According to a Sheriff’s Office report, the boyfriend was receiving frantic phone calls from his girlfriend telling him she was taken by force.
He then called deputies, saying three suspects who he had borrowed money from, kidnapped his girlfriend.
A short time later, the boyfriend received a phone call from a male suspect informing him to pay the money or his girlfriend would be hurt. The suspect also told the boyfriend to bring the money and meet him at a specific location and not to call law enforcement.
Osceola County detectives and the agency gang unit responded to the area in an attempt to locate the victim and the suspects. Soon after, the victim was released and found by detectives.
The suspects were identified as Jafet Andrillion, 18, Carlos Andrillion-Torres, 40, and 18-year-old Elizabeth Vega-Lopez. They were arrested at the Magnuson Hotel, 4694 W. U.S. Highway 192, and charged with kidnapping, battery and false imprisonment.
