The Association of Poinciana Villages (APV) LifeStyles presents Summer Splash on Saturday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Poinciana Community Pool, 445 Marigold Ave.
Summer Splash promises to be a day of fun in the sun. There will be a D.J. spinning summer time tunes to dance and swim to. Enjoy games and prizes. The concession stand will be open to purchase refreshments.

The Summer BreakSpot Program is federally funded under the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and in Florida, administered by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. This program sites are locally operated by nonprofit organizations (sponsors) that provide free meals (breakfast and lunch) to youths under the age of 18 while school is out for summer break.

Dr. Joseph Stewart, board certified gynecologist at Poinciana Medical Center, will present a Physician Lecture Series program at the Poinciana Branch Library on Monday, June 10, at 11:30 a.m. This presentation will provide information on robotic surgery. Valencia College Poinciana will host a help session on Thursday, June 20, from 2 to 4 p.m. This session will provide help on applying to Valencia and assist FAFSA/financial aid process. Additional support will be available with residency, ATLAS, on-line orientation and more.
