St. Cloud to celebrate Pinktoberfest Saturday, Oct. 12

The city of St. Cloud and Pink Heals St. Cloud Charter have teamed up once again to celebrate the annual Pinktoberfest event on Saturday, Oct. 12, in downtown St. Cloud. This event helps raise awareness and funds for the St. Cloud Charter of Pink Heals. Pink Heals is a nonprofit healthcare support group that provides financial and emotional support for families battling cancer, within the city. All funds raised at the event will stay in St. Cloud. The Pinktoberfest event, whixh runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., kicks off with health and wellness exhibitors, community business vendors and a kid zone. 

At noon, be prepared to register your team for the pink fire truck pull. The proceeds of this competition, which starts at 1:30 p.m., also go to support the St. Cloud Charter of Pink Heals. 

During the event, the following streets will be closed beginning at 6 a.m.: New York Ave. closed from 10th St. to City Hall and 9th St. closed from City Hall to Pennsylvania Ave. 

 Event sponsors include Experience Kissimmee, Shamrock Auto Body, Duke’s Brewhouse and Kisselback Ford.
