Two St. Cloud residents were killed in a Brevard County crash on Sunday, after they were ejected from a motorcycle.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, Moheidin Hanafi, 72, of St. Cloud, was driving a trike motorcycle northbound on U.S. Highway 1 at about 4:50 p.m., when for an unknown reason he lost control of the vehicle.
The motorcycle left the roadway and overturned, ejecting Moheidin and his wife, Sahar, 59, who was the passenger. Moheidin was taken to Parrish Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Sahar was pronounced dead at the scene. Neither was wearing helmets, according to the report.
The crash remains under investigation.
