Sheriff's Office finds suspects in 2018 home invasion

The Osceola County Sheriff's Office two home invasion suspects who broke into a victim's apartment and attacked him.

On Nov. 11, 2018 at about 12:35 a.m. deputies responded to a home invasion robbery at the Courtland at Hunters Creek apartments in Kissimmee. The victim told detectives that two unknown suspects entered the apartment, bound and battered him. At the time of the investigation the suspects were unknown and unidentified.

Later, DNA evidence led to the identity and arrests of Torrence Blackshear, 43, and Trevor Bailey, 21. Blackshear was arrested for the active warrant and cooperated with detectives in the case. Detectives located Bailey in the Orange County Jail for an unrelated charge. Bailey did not cooperate with detectives. Blackshear was booked in the Osceola County Jail on zero bond for armed robbery home invasion, aggravated battery, and grand theft. Bailey was charged with armed robbery home invasion, aggravated battery, and grand theft with a zero bond.
