Roadwork on the Radar: Temporary closure on Oakwood Drive extended to June

Toho Water Authority has announced that the temporary closure to through traffic on Oakwood Drive has been extended until the end of June.

The closure is necessary to conduct repairs on sewer mains relating to the sewer rehabilitation project currently underway. Schedules could vary according to weather and unforeseen circumstances.  

Signs will be placed as needed to keep the traveling public informed of the project. Motorists are urged to use caution when approaching these areas, as workers will be present and speed limits may be reduced in certain areas.

Temporary inconveniences could include noise and vibrations; barricades and fencing for safety; and trucks, machinery and equipment

Anyone who might see a potentially unsafe situation, or equipment or fencing that requires attention is asked to contact Toho’s Customer Service Department immediately at 407-944-5000.

Osceola County road resurfacing projects

Osceola County officials are advising the public about some road resurfacing projects.

Knob Hill Circle and portions of Kings Point Boulevard are tentatively scheduled for resurfacing through Friday, May 10. Work will be done daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Door hangers will be posted to advise the citizens of the upcoming project

There will be temporary lane closures but no road closures .

Traffic delays can be expected.
