Osceola County deputies arrested and charged two men with armed robbery home invasion after demanding money from a victim at gunpoint.
The suspects, Eddie Sanchez and Luis Rosario, also were charged with home invasion with a firearm, aggravated assault with deadly weapon without intent to kill and grand theft.
On Nov. 23, at approximately 12:31 a.m., the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Travelodge at 2295 E. U.S. Highway 192, Kissimmee, after receiving an armed robbery home invasion report.
Deputies learned that two suspects identified as Sanchez and Rosario went to the victim’s motel room and demanded money from the victim at gunpoint. The incident allegedly started over an argument earlier in the evening, which later escalated into an armed robbery, according to a Sheriff’s Office report.
Deputies were able to locate both suspects at their home where a firearm and the victim’s property was recovered. Both Sanchez and Rosario met with detectives, but only Luis cooperated with the investigation, the report stated.
The suspects were booked into the Osceola County Jail on no bond.
