Osceola deputies arrest suspect for attempted murder

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested an attempted murder suspect on Monday after a victim was shot in his lower torso.

At about 11:01 p.m., deputies responded to 1930 E. Osceola Parkway Kissimmee, after receiving a shooting call.

According to a Sheriff’s Office report, the victim and the suspect, Dinoshka Montemoino-Colon, 20, agreed to meet at the shooting location to settle their personal issues. During the meeting, Montemoino-Colon shot the victim in his lower torso, the report stated.

Detectives with the Osceola County Intelligence Unit and Violent Crimes Unit were able to locate the suspect in the Meadow Woods area off Landstar Boulevard.

Montemoino-Colon cooperated with the investigation, and was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office aided in the investigation, the report stated.
