With a new year comes a new Florida Legislative session.
On Thursday, Jan. 17, at 9 a.m. Osceola’s Legislative Delegation, including Sen. Victor Torres, Rep. Josie Tomkow, Rep. John Cortes, and Rep. Mike La Rosa will hold a delegation meeting at the Osceola County Commission Chambers, located on the fourth floor of the county administration building, 1 Courthouse Square, Kissimmee. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
The meeting will include a presentation and discussion of key legislative priorities for the upcoming 2019 legislative session. Delegation members will elect the delegation leader at this meeting. The meeting will also include presentations from the city of St. Cloud, the city of Kissimmee, Osceola County government and the Osceola County School Board. Osceola County Sheriff Russ Gibson and Osceola County Supervisor of Elections Mary Jane Arrington will also speak.
The Osceola County Legislative Delegation wants to hear from the community prior to the 2019 Legislative Session. Free parking is available in the Bryan Street garage or parking lot immediately adjacent to the county administration and county courthouse buildings.
