Osceola Community Health Services offering specials for residents

Osceola Community Health Services, 109 N. Doverplum Ave., is offering an early bird special until Sunday.

Sports physicals, with required EKG, are $45 ($10 savings) and physicals with vaccines, $30 ($5 savings). Osceola Community Health Services also has locations in Kissimmee, Buenaventura Lakes (BVL), Intercession City and St. Cloud. For more information call 407-943-8600.

Another service provided by Osceola Community Health Services is Phone2Home.

Phone2Home is a free care management program whose goal is to connect patients with affordable health services and community resources.  Here are more details about The Association of Poinciana Villages’ Fireworks Spectacular 2019.

This event is set to illuminate Poinciana in an early Independence Day celebration on Saturday, June 29,from 6 to 10 p.m. The festivities include

live music, food trucks, bounce houses, vendors, face painting, balloon artists and more.  

Live entertainment includes Angel Lopez, LaCalle, El Principe del Timbal y su Orquesta. Emcee Carol Saraqusa will keep the show on track.

The evening ends with a bang courtesy of Pyrotechnico.  Bring a chair or blanket to comfortably enjoy this event.  Fireworks Spectacular 2019 will be held at the Vance Harmon Amphitheater, 625 Country Club Drive.

Off-site parking is available behind Walgreens Cypress Parkway (grassy lot) and at the Anthony DePalma Center, 395 Marigold Ave.

Buses (courtesy of Living Water Fellowship) will run every 15 minutes, beginning at 4 p.m. Some handicap parking is available at Vance Harmon Park. Be safe and enjoy the show!

 Celebrate Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s birthday with Out of this World Entertainment: Actors Reaching Out on today June 27, from 6 to 7 p.m. Sherlock Holmes comes to life with songs and stories in this theatrical performance by Actors Reaching Out at the Poinciana Branch Library.

The Poinciana Branch Library hosts ESOL for Beginners on Monday, July 1, from 2 to 4 p.m.

This class is for those who want to become more familiar with the English Language. And is taught by a certified instructor in partnership with the Adult Literacy League.

The month of July Adult Book Club selection is Bittersweet by Susan Wittig Albert.

The Mysteries and Recipes for July will take place on Wednesday, July 3, from 5 to 6 p.m. Debate this mystery novel while delighting in one of the recipes included in the book.
