An Orlando motorcyclist was killed on Thursday after traveling into the path of van, authorities said.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, the motorcyclist was stopped facing northbound on Alligator Lakeshore West at the intersection of U.S. Highway 192 at about 11:58 p.m.
The 32-year-old male motorcyclist then attempted to cross the eastbound lanes of U.S. 192, but traveled into the path of a 2003 Honda van being driven by Lisa Llanos, 53, of Harmony, according to the report.
The front of the motorcycle hit the front right side of the van. The motorcyclist was then knocked into the outside lane of U.S. 192 and was hit by a 2018 Ford vehicle, driven by Gabriel Carlson-Martini, 24, of St. Cloud.
The motorcyclist, who was not identified because his family had not been notified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Neither of the other drivers were injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
