Kissimmee police working homicide after teenage girl found dead Sunday

The Kissimmee Police Department is working a homicide investigation after finding a teenage girl dead at a mobile home park on Sunday.

Just before 7 p.m. on Sunday, the police department received a 911 call from the Country Life Mobile Home Park.

A male caller said he was checking on his friend, a 17-year-old Hispanic female, at her mobile home on Roscoe Drive, in Kissimmee, but found her dead inside.

Due to the circumstances of the way she was found in the mobile home, the Kissimmee Police Department is treating the case as a homicide investigation, according to a police report.

While detectives work to notify family members, investigators are trying to determine what led to the victim’s death. Investigators do believe this was an isolated incident.
