On Saturday, Ramon A. Santiago, 66, walked out of his family’s vehicle around 6 p.m. while they were at a stop sign near the Gables at Lakeside subdivision off North John Young Parkway. Santiago suffers from dementia. He is not familiar with the area. Santiago is originally from New York and was visiting Kissimmee on vacation with his family. For hours the family attempted to locate Santiago on their own but were unsuccessful. The next morning, around 4 a.m. July 7, a Kissimmee police officer passed by the Santiago family along the roadway believing they may have encountered car trouble. Immediately learning of the attempted search, the Kissimmee Police Department began their own search for Santiago. Santiago was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts and sandals.
Contact the Kissimmee Police Department or your local agency if you have seen Ramon Santiago.
