A Kissimmee pedestrian was killed by a vehicle  Sunday morning trying to cross Orange Blossom Trail.
According the a Florida Highway Patrol report, Jose Torres, 56, of Davenport, was driving a 2014 Nissan vehicle eastbound on Orange Blossom Trail near Pleasant Hill Drive at about 5:10 a.m.
At the same time, Kenneth Livingston, 66, of Kissimmee, was attempting to cross the trail in a crosswalk. Torres, however, had a green light and hit Livingston, the report stated. Livingston was taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The case remains under investigation.
