The city of Kissimmee partnered with Lynx and SunRail to launch the new Kissimmee Connector shuttle service on Monday to help solve a common “last mile” problem in city’s transportation network, according to a city press release.
The Kissimmee Connector shuttle service, which will be free for the first six months, will transport riders to strategic locations including the SunRail/LYNX Intermodal Station, Kissimmee Lakefront Park, Osceola County Government Administrative Complex and Courthouse, Kissimmee City Hall, Osceola Regional Medical Center and AdventHealth Kissimmee.
The Kissimmee Connector will run every 30 minutes throughout the 5.64-mile route allowing for better connectivity between the densely populated employment locations. Shuttles will start and finish at the Intermodal Station, and buses will run from 6:30 a.m. to 8 .m. Monday through Friday.
Information and maps with exact pick-up locations and service times can be located at https://sunrail.com/station/kissimmee-amtrak/.
