Mary Clarke, known around the community for her past work as a dress maker and local community volunteer, turned 100 last week, and was feted at a birthday party and gathering in Remington Saturday attended by some 50 people. Clarke, a native of the Boston area, has lived in Osceola County since 1984, and those close to her call her a “fantastic neighbor and great friend” who continues to crochet and read the Bible.
