Goodwill Industries of Central Florida will hold a Central Florida job fair Thursday Oct. 17.
The fair will be connecting job seekers with potential employers across the six counties it serves, including Osceola at 1356 E. Vine St., Kissimmee.
The nonprofit’s semi-annual event day brings local companies to each of Goodwill’s 11 Job Connection Centers in Central Florida from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Anyone looking for employment should dress in business attire, bring several copies of his/her resume and be ready to possibly interview on the spot.
Every day, Goodwill’s employment specialists work with participants to assess their skills and strengths, build an employment plan, help with resume writing and practice interviewing.
In 2018, Goodwill served more than 45,000 people by connecting them with resources and job training, and placed over 10,000 of those individuals in jobs.
