A Central Florida company will be giving away 500 turkeys to the less fortunate in Kissimmee on Tuesday.

AmeriFactors will be giving away the free frozen turkeys to families in need at 2925 International Drive in Kissimmee from 6 to 8 a.m., or until the turkeys are gone.

For nearly 30 years, AmeriFactors has not only been funding businesses, they have also been committed to helping the Central Florida Community, according to a company press release.

Company officials said they wanted to extend their help to families that are facing challenges and hardships during the Thanksgiving holiday by providing turkeys. In order to extend the offer to as many people as possible, they are limiting one turkey per household on a first come first serve basis, while supplies last.

“It’s very important for local businesses to give back to their local communities. All of corporate America should be making a commitment to help those in need,” said Kevin Gowen, founder and president of AmeriFactors. “AmeriFactors would like wish everyone a happy holiday season.”
