Deputies searching for suspect who robbed Osceola hotel at gunpoint

 Deputies are searching for an unknown suspect who robbed a hotel at gunpoint on Tuesday.

At 6 a.m., Osceola County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the Econolodge, 2934 Polynesian Isle Boulevard, Kissimmee, after receiving an armed robbery report.

The victim told deputies that a black male suspect, armed with a silver semi-automatic pistol, robbed the hotel clerk at gunpoint. The suspect ordered the victim to empty the register and he got away with an undisclosed amount of money, according to a Sheriff’s Office report

The suspect was described as a slender black male, weighing about 140 to 150 pounds. He was approximately 23 to 25 years of age, between 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was wearing a blue hoodie with the drawstring pulled tight over his head, black tight pants, black “slides” on his feet and a dark bandana over his mouth, the report stated. The suspect then fled, heading south on Polynesian Isle Boulevard.
