Osceola County Sheriff’s Office deputies are searching for a burglary caught on surveillance breaking into a victim’s home while he slept.
On Aug. 9, deputies responded to a residential burglary in Osceola County.
The Sheriff’s Office was provided with doorbell video footage capturing a male attempting to pry open the victim’s front door. When the suspect was unsuccessful, he was able to gain entry by prying open the rear sliding glass doors instead. The suspect was also recorded walking back and forth from an unidentified vehicle in the victim’s driveway and putting on gloves, before carrying two flat screen televisions out of the victim’s residence. The suspect was able to commit the burglary while victim slept in the residence. The video shows the suspect has several tattoos.
