Deputies make Poinciana drug bust after traffic stop, 3 arrested

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office seized more than 75 grams of heroin and arrested three people during a traffic stop on

Feb. 13.

Deputies arrested Zuleimie Baez Mojica, Angel Diaz Cruz and Zharleen Cintron-Rivera, and charged them with possession of controlled substances.

According to a Sheriff’s Office report, patrol deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Marigold Avenue and Cypress Branch Road in Poinciana, and initiated an illegal drug investigation.

The driver and passenger were Mojica and Cruz, respectively.

But the investigation also lead deputies and detectives to 323 Colonade Court in Poinciana, where deputies made contact with Rivera. A search warrant was obtained and additional drugs were discovered in the home, where Rivera was also arrested.

In total, deputies seized more than 75 grams of heroin with a street value of approximately $8,000; over 21 grams of cocaine valued at $2,500 and 30 grams of marijuana.

The three suspects arrested were booked into the Osceola County Jail.
