Deputies charge stabbing suspect with attempted murder

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man for stabbing a victim at a local lounge on Saturday.

Carlos Cabral-Sandoval, 23, was arrested and charged with attempted murder.

On Saturday at about 2:13 a.m., deputies responded to the Escape Hookah Lounge, 4636 W. U.S. Highway 192, Kissimmee, after receiving a report of a stabbing.

According to a Sheriff’s Office report, deputies discovered that a fight had taken place inside the lounge, which further escalated in the parking lot. During the fight, Cabral-Sandoval stabbed the victim multiple times in the stomach and back. The victim suffered significant injuries and is still being treated for those injuries.

During the investigation, numerous individuals were identified and located. And after multiple interviews, detectives with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit identified Cabral-Sandoval as the suspect.

Detectives with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Intelligence Unit assisted with the investigation and located Cabral-Sandoval. He was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail.
