Three Davenport residents charged with Osceola murder

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office have charged three Davenport residents with murder after a victim was shot and killed last month.

Anthony Ruiz, 22, Jacob Elliott Lopez, 20, and Armani Hugo Matosm 21, were arrested in connection with the murder of Darik Febus, 57, which occurred on Feb. 26 in the Hammock Trails subdivision.

All three were charged with first-degree murder, kidnapping, and robbery with a firearm.

According to a Sheriff’s Office report, the three suspects were involved in illegal drug activity in front of the victim’s residence when a disturbance occurred.
