The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a male suspect who grabbed a teenager by the arm while he was walking home from school on Friday.
According to a Sheriff’s Office report, deputies responded to the area of Fortune Road and Bill Beck Boulevard after receiving a suspicious incident report.
The 16-year-old boy told deputies he was walking home from Gateway High School along Fortune Road at approximately 3:30 p.m., when an unknown male approached him. The male walked alongside the teen and after asking for directions, he grabbed the victim and said “he was going to walk him home, so he did not have to walk home alone,” the report stated.
The teen then pulled away from the suspect and went inside a nearby business. While inside, the teen snapped a photo of the male in a parking lot, who was talking to someone inside a black vehicle.
The teen described the male as Hispanic with a medium complexion, approximately 45 years old, between 5-feet-7 and 5-feet-9 inches tall, with short black hair.
Anyone with information regarding the case or who might be able to identify the unknown male is asked to contact the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office at 407-348-2222.
