Weather watching: Cold front to move through Osceola Wednesday, temperatures in the low 70s

A cold front that will be moving through Osceola County on Wednesday will bring north winds gusting over 20 miles per hour. It will make it feel chilly, because the high will only be in the low 70s.

We will pop back up to around 80 degrees on Thursday, but a rain system is expected to move in on Friday. For your weekend, you can expect highs in the mid to upper 70s, and there could be a few showers around. It looks like a better weather pattern will begin to shape up from Nov. 20-25 with highs in the 80s and partly sunny skies.

It’s a little too early to tell you about Thanksgiving at this time, but I will have your forecast next week.

Rainfall during the first 10 days of November ranged anywhere from a 3/4 of an inch to an inch and 3/4 across Osceola County, it was spotty but heavy where it occurred.

Sunrise is now 6:46 a.m., with sunset occurring at 5:33 p.m.

I want a few weather spotters in our county or surrounding counties and it would require very little of your time. Please drop me an email to weather1@charter.net if you enjoy keeping up with the weather and could help us out.
