It’s an unsettled forecast that I have for you this week with daily chances of showers and a few thunderstorms set at about 40 to 50 percent each afternoon. And that is the story all the way through the weekend.
Afternoon high temperatures will mostly be in the mid-to-upper 80s and then dropping into the upper 60s to low 70s at night. The average high in mid October in Osceola County is 84 degrees and the low is 65. Average rainfall for October 3.23. I am afraid there are no major changes for next week from Oct. 21-27, with showers popping up around the area on most days. There are no tropical threats to the state at this time. We have six weeks of hurricane season remaining, so let’s hope it stays quiet. The days continue to get shorter as we move deeper into autumn. Sunrise is now 7:27 a.m. with sunset at 6:55 p.m. In our evening sky, the planet Jupiter is the brightest one in the southwestern sky, but it gets lower as the evening progresses and then the moon starts rising in the East.
