Culver’s restaurants set for Osceola debut

Two Culver’s restaurant will open their doors in Kissimmee on Monday, December 12 at 10 am. Known for its famous ButterBurger and creamy frozen custard, the restaurant serves fast casual food cooked-to-order.

The restaurants are located at 9070 W. U.S. 192 and 3148 N. Orange Blossom Trail. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 11 p.m every day with the exception of a few holidays.

Nathan Devine, franchise owner, Kissimmee Chamber of Commerce representatives and local city officials will be on hand to cut the ribbon to the restaurant on U.S. 192 restaurant at 9 a.m. on Monday, December 12.

Devine grew up in Wisconsin just miles down the road from the original Culver’s location in Sauk City, Wisconsin. Devine recently relocated to the Kissimmee community. As a young boy, his family often traveled to Orlando to visit Walt Disney World. It was through all those family trips to Disney that drew Devine to bring a part of his Wisconsin childhood to the Kissimmee area. “Walt always said ‘If you can dream it, you can do it,” and part of my childhood dream was to bring Culver’s to the Disney area” says Devine..

“We’re thrilled to bring handcrafted, high-quality meals and desserts to the community of Kissimmee,” says Devine. “We think it’s a wonderful area and we are excited to become a contributing and active member of the community.”

Nick Haman, franchise owner of Culver’s on N. Orange Blossom Trail will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, December 13 at 9 am. Chamber of Commerce representatives and local city officials will be on hand to cut the ribbon to the new restaurant.

Haman is no stranger to Culver’s. His family has been Culver’s restaurant owners since 1997. His father, Pete, and Pete’s brothers Tom and Tim Haman own one Culver’s restaurant in Wyoming, MI and two restaurants in Racine, Wisc.

“Culver’s has been a big part of my life and I’m excited to carry on the family business in Kissimmee,” says Haman. “Culver’s was founded on the idea of providing excellent service and high-quality food made with the best ingredients. The outstanding people who serve our guests behind the counter have helped us earn our reputation, and we’re excited to have team members from the surrounding Kissimmee community as part of our team.”
