Boggy Creek substitute teacher facing numerous accusations of molesting students

After initially being arrested last week for allegedly molesting a Boggy Creek Elementary School student, a substitute teacher is now facing additional accusations.

Fnu Syedyaseen-Asher, 19, was originally arrested on Feb. 28 after Osceola County Sheriff’s Office deputies received a report of lewd and lascivious molestation on a victim under 12.

But he was arrested again on Monday after deputies said a total of six girls accused Syedyaseen-Asher inappropriately touching them while working as a substitute teacher, according to published reports.

It began when the first victim was interviewed by the Child Protective Team, where she provided detailed information of the incident, according to a sheriff’s Office report. Based on the information provided by the victim, detectives made contact with Syedyaseen-Asher where he confessed to the crime, according to the report. Syedyaseen-Asher was arrested and charged with three counts of lewd and lascivious molestation on a victim under 12 years of age and he was later transported to the Osceola County Jail. Detectives responded to the school and interviewed other students in attempt to locate additional victims and possible witnesses. Sheriff’s Office officials are asking anyone with information concerning the case to call the agency at 407-348-2222 or Crimeline at 1- 800-423-8477, where information leading to a felony arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
