5K to honor Brooklyn Rose Medina and other DIPG young cancer patients

Early Saturday the morning, some 200 runners and supporters of pediatric cancer research gathered for the Brooklyn Rose Strong 5K, named in honor of Brooklyn Rose Medina, who lost her battle with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) in February at age 3. Over $3,000 was raised for The Cure Starts Now, the largest funder of DIPG research. The public can continue to donate at https://p2p.thecurestartsnow.org/2628 ... or attend the 2025 event!
