Neptune is middle school athletics champ

Neptune Middle School won the Osceola County Middle School Athletic Conference All-Sports Cup for the fourth year in a row, and Celebration K-8 was the Team Academic champion.
Neptune (41) won five sports championships and had four runners-up. Horizon Middle and Celebration K-8 tied for second place (23).
Neptune won girls and boys cross country titles, girls and boys basketball championships and boys track. Horizon won boys wrestling and girls track. Celebration was first in boys volleyball, competitive cheerleading and flag football.
Other schools winning championships included Denn John Middle (girls volleyball), Westside K-8 (boys soccer), Narcoossee (girls soccer), St. Cloud (softball) and Bellalago (girls wrestling).
Celebration’s cumulative GPA was 3.682, led by the girls soccer team’s 3.9 GPA.
Neptune (3.407) was second.
