Movie in the Park to show ‘The Polar Express’

Posted on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 10:48 am

Kissimmee Utility Authority’s popular Movie in the Park series will resume Dec. 1 by showing “The Polar Express.”
The series is scheduled for the first Friday of each month on the civic lawn of Kissimmee’s Lakefront Park. Activities begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the movie at 7 p.m.
Attendees will enjoy free admission, free popcorn, themed activities, trivia contests and prize giveaways. Through hands-on demonstrations, the events will also be an opportunity for customers to learn how to lower their monthly utility bills.
The movies will be shown on a giant 32-foot screen with sound system. All movies will feature closed captioning for the hearing impaired.
Participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and a picnic-style dinner.
More than 13,000 residents attended last year’s Movie in the Park series.
