Big news for Twistee Treat.

The ice cream chain, known for and easily recognized by its iconic 25-foot tall, ice cream cone-shaped buildings, is expanding just in time for summer.

The three locations will open in Cypress, Tx., Port Richey, Fla., and right here in Kissimmee at 2480 E. U. S. 192 (Partin Settlement).

“We are thrilled to be adding new stores and we’re looking forward to making a positive impact in these new communities,” said Twistee Treat USA President Max Fromberg.

Twistee Treat Social Media & Marketing Manager Ryan Glaze told the News-Gazette that the Partin Settlement location “will offer all of the favorites” — like Twistee Treat’s famous homemade soft serve ice cream, delicious sundaes, creamy shakes, unique ice cream waffle tacos and much more.

The menu will also include ballpark hot dogs and soft drinks.

Since opening its first location in 1983, Twistee Treat has expanded throughout Florida and Texas.
