Since the 1970s, the Kiwanis Club of Kissimmee has held a Christmas Party for families that needed a warm and fuzzy. This year, families from Thacker Ave Elementary, Boggy Creek Elementary and Kissimmee Elementary were invited to attend this truly heart warming event at First United Methodist Church in Kissimmee.
Members of Key Clubs at Osceola High, Gateway High, and Harmony High — all of which are sponsored by the Kiwanis Club — helped Kiwanis with shopping for toys that were on the children's wish lists and wrapping toys, and even helped with serving food to the families.
Santa Claus arrived to deliver these special toys to this truly happy and surprised children. It is this kind of service that the Kissimmee Kiwanis Club continually does for the good of Osceola County.
