Save the date — Fandom Kissimmee is returning to Kissimmee on Sept. 21.
The fantasy, sci-fi and comic book convention will transport you into a world of your favorite movies, TV shows, comic books and games. There will be exhibitions by vendors in comic books, magazines, toys, games, cosplay and artwork.
In addition to the convention, there will be a panel discussion and demonstrations from industry professionals.
The convention will also host a cosplay contest — whether guests choose to participate or not, everyone is welcome to wear their favorite cosplay. There will be multiple contests including one for children ages 13 and under, followed by the contest for teens and adults. Registration for the cosplay contest will be held during the event until 4:30 p.m. The first contest will begin at 5 p.m.
Fandom Kissimmee welcomes families of all ages. Admission is free.
The event will be on Sept. 21, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Kissimmee Civic Center — located at 201 E. Dakin St., Kissimmee.
Another exciting event…
Before Fandom Kissimmee makes its way to the Civic Center, get ready for the city of Kissimmee’s Back to School Jam.
The event will be on Aug. 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Chambers Park Community Center — located at 2380 Smith St., Kissimmee.
The Back to School Jam will celebrate and kick off the 2019-20 school year with school supplies, backpacks, raffles, a bounce house, face painters, live entertainment and a DJ. Free haircuts will also be available for students. Admission is free.
