The Celebration Foundation’s Women’s Initiative Nurturing Girls’ Strength (WINGS) committee will present “Kellie Haddock in Concert” Saturday, May 16, at the Community Presbyterian Church in Celebration from 7 to 9 p.m. Cost is $10

per person.

“We are excited to have Kellie be our guest speaker because her story and her “Thank You Project” are so inspiring. She shows her gratitude through her music and story,” said Eileen Crawford, Celebration Foundation Board member and co-chair of WINGS. “Her music is original and tells her story of the tragedy of losing her husband, but how her son’s life was spared thanks to the first responders, nurses and doctors who helped along the way.”

The “Thank You Project” begins 10 years after a tragic car accident, Kellie Haddock found the heroes that saved her son’s life to stay thank you, according to a foundation press release.  Kellie’s message of gratitude – her “Thank You Project” was featured on the Today Show, garnering 4 million hits on YouTube and 20 million hits across the Internet as a whole.

“I make music for friends, family and others who are hurting, to encourage and to offer words for the times in life when it’s hard to find words. I hope the listener will find some warmth next to this little light of music,” said Kellie Haddock.
