Craig Bendall is a 26-year-old golf instructor at Celebration’s golf club. He moved to Osceola County from England on his 17th birthday.

“It was just the draw of the town that brought [our family] here, really,” said Bendall. “It’s much different from England.”

After graduating from Celebration High School in 2008, Bendall began working at the golf club cleaning clubs and servicing the course.

“I never knew golf was such an industry,” said Bendall.

He went on to study PGA Golf Management at Florida Gulf Coast University in Ft. Myers. He currently instructs student golfers ages 4 to 92 but still enjoys a game himself every now and then.

“One of my favorite hobbies is golfing. It’s always come easy to me,” said Bendall. “One of my favorite courses in the area is Kissimmee Bay. Orange County National is another great local course to check out.”

When he’s not swinging clubs, Bendall is enjoying a prime rib sandwich at the Town Tavern or a walk around Downtown Disney.

“There’s a lot to do around here,” said Bendall. “I’ve seen enough of Florida to know that this is such a lovely place to live, and right now I’ve got no ambitions to leave Celebration for any other place in Florida.”
