Michael Carlson, the architect of the 2009 HGTV Green Home in Post St. Lucie, will present a lecture Wednesday, March 18. at 4:15 p.m. in the atrium at Stetson University, Celebration.

The lecture, sponsored by the Celebration Foundation New Urbanism Committee is free and open to the public.

Carlson will present a behind the scenes look at the design process and sustainable green features of the home.

The home was featured on HGTV and given away to one lucky winner.  Topics include ideas to achieve a gentle site impact, energy and water conservation, quality material selections, health, comfort, happiness and beauty.

The mission of the New Urbanism Committee is to preserve, protect and advance the New Urbanism principles upon which Celebration was founded.
