Detectives searching for armed robbery suspect



Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who robbed a Celebration bank on Monday.

At approximately 3:40 p.m., deputies responded to the Regions Bank at 50 Blake Blvd. in Celebration. They spoke with an employee who said an unknown male entered the bank, implied he had a weapon and handed the teller a note, which demanded money. The employee complied and the suspect fled the area with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20’s or early 30’s, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing sunglasses on his head and a black jacket.

Calls made to Crimeline remain anonymous, and tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $5,000.
